About Zeta Phi Beta
Founded on January 16, 1920 at Howard University, Zeta Phi Beta is the only National Pan-Hellenic Council sorority that is constitutionally bound to a fraternity, Phi Beta Sigma. This historically African-American sorority consists of more than 800 chapters in eight intercontinental regions including the United States, Africa, Europe, Asia, and Caribbean.

Zeta Phi Beta holds many distinctions as a Greek organization, including some that made history. This sorority was the first Greek-letter organization to charter a chapter in Africa; to form adult and youth auxiliary groups; and to centralize its operations in a national headquarters. From its start, Zeta Phi Beta is dedicated to its mission of educating the public, assisting youth, providing scholarships, supporting organized charities and promoting legislation for social and civic change.

Today, the sorority works with several organizations including American Diabetes Association, American Cancer Society, American Red Cross, National Council of Negro Women, and the United Negro College Fund.
